Recently, a vulnerability in Log4j, a Java library for logging error messages in applications, has been discovered. The library is developed by the open-source Apache Software Foundation and is a key Java-logging framework. Log4j is used in enterprise software applications, including those custom applications developed in-house, and also forms part of many cloud-computing services. If exploited, an attacker can take control over vulnerable systems remotely.
Please note, Cassia’s Bluetooth gateways and IoT Access Controller are not affected by the recent Log4j vulnerability.
If you have any concerns regarding this vulnerability, we highly recommend you check with your cloud service provider to make sure your data is not being compromised.
