Cassia Networks is excited to announce version 2.0.1 of the gateway container!
Currently, Cassia’s X1000, E1000, X2000 and ATX2000 gateways support this new version.
Compared to Cassia’s previous v1.1.1 container, the v2.0.1 container is intended for gateway firmware versions v2.1.1 and up. The latest version is designed with more additional capabilities and resources than the previous container version. This includes updated versions for various libraries and tools.
End-users will benefit from a newer Ubuntu OS (20.04.2 LTS) compared to the v1.1.1 container which runs Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS OS. Many of the libraries and tools in the v2.0.1 container are more advanced allowing for greater ease of use.
The new container also has ASP.NET Core 3.1.16 pre-installed. For additional details and information, please visit this link to the v2.0.1 container manual: https://www.cassianetworks.com/download/docs/Cassia-Custom_Application_Deployment_Instructions_v2.0.1.pdf.
