Lauderdale Convention Center – Thursday, 4:00 pm, Jan. 31, 2019, Brad Canham of Cassia Networks is participating in a special panel discussion on “What’s next for Industry 4.0” at IoT Evolution Expo 2019 alongside Jason Kelley, General Manager IBM Blockchain Services IBM and Dr. Claudio Lima, Co-Chair, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) Energy/Utility/Oil & Gas, Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC).
Leveraging insights derived directly from Cassia’s own IIoT projects using Bluetooth networking, Canham will describe current project models moving forward employing predictive maintenance, asset tracking and other sensor-derived capabilities.
Moreover, recent innovations in long-range and multiple connected Bluetooth edge functionality will be addressed. Finally, Canham will also note current hurdles to reaching an idealized “Industry 4.0” future state by describing current challenges in current Industry 4.0 active use cases compared to potential future use cases.
