April 1-5, 2019, Hannover-Messe – Join Cassia Networks at the birthplace of “Industry 4.0” in Hannover, Germany, Digital Factory, Hall 5, Booth 42E for five days of live demonstrations on the future of the digital factory. Predictive maintenance Bluetooth IoT includes: long-range Bluetooth, multiple connections, edge processing, and remote management of big data ensuring maximum uptime and factory efficiency.
On April 3, 4:30 pm (GMT+1), Cassia Networks is hosting an enterprise Bluetooth IoT “mini-event” with beverages and snacks. Leveraging insights derived directly from Cassia’s deployed predictive maintenance Bluetooth projects, Cassia team members will describe current project models moving forward employing predictive maintenance Bluetooth, asset tracking and other sensor-derived capabilities.
Moreover, recent innovations in long-range and multiple connected Bluetooth edge functionality will be addressed. Finally, Cassia presentations will also note how predictive maintenance Bluetooth systems address current hurdles to reaching an idealized “Industry 4.0” future state by describing current challenges in current Industry 4.0 active use cases compared to potential future use cases.

In 2018 Cassia Networks enterprise Bluetooth IoT solutions were introduced at Hannover-Messe with active deployments by ABB. In 2019, additional enterprise deployments have gathered speed and in worldwide deployments. Often, these deployment begin with vibration monitoring on low voltage motors and then extend to other sensored capabilities – asset-tracking, temperature, pressure, density etc..- to fully leverage enterprise Bluetooth network capabilities. Moreover, as the deployment and value-add capabilities are explored edge processing is used to compute rules for factory assets at the local level, rather than pushing data to the cloud.
At the Hannover-Messe 2018, ABI Research principal analyst Stuart Carlaw highlighted Cassia Networks in his post-event report, noting ABB reported reductions of 70% downtime reductions, 30% motor life extensions, and energy reductions of up to 10%. Since that time, several other major players have added predictive maintenance Bluetooth to their solutions. Cassia team members will be on-hand for discussion and best practice reviews of these development at the Cassia booth at Hannover-Messe 2019.
