Cassia is pleased to announce the release of 2.1.1! Our product and engineering team has been working hard to deliver on what our users care about the most. We are excited to share new and improved features and enhancements designed to improve scalability, security and ease of use.
This release applies to Cassia’s X1000, E1000, X2000 and S2000 gateways as well as Cassia’s IoT Access Controller (AC). Let’s highlight a few of these upgrades:
Consolidated AC Management Port
This feature provides increased reliability and ease of use for end-users. When Cassia’s gateways are connected to the Access Controller (AC), all services will function seamlessly. Furthermore, end-users will no longer encounter issues when downloading the container/app. From a security perspective, this feature is firewall friendly for environments with strict security protocols.
Multiple AC Viewer
With a consolidated view of multiple AC’s, end-users can now easily monitor several different functions such as resource consumption (CPU, MEM, Storage, Cellular), online/offline gateways as well as connected and detected devices for other AC’s.
Upgraded BLE Debug Tool
The latest version (version 2) features an improved UI and functionality for ease of use. Version 2 also includes an RSSI chart to allow end-users to visualize the RSSI values of different devices. Also, version 2 allows end-users to replay each API call to understand how the APIs work in a step-by-step format.
At Cassia Networks, we are continuously innovating and adding feature-rich functionalities most sought after by our customers. We are focused on providing products and solutions that deliver the scalability, security and ease of use for today’s IoT environments.
