PROJECT REQUIREMENTS
Jiangsu Tianpeng Petrochemical sought a real-time health monitoring system to track the vital signs of workers operating inside the storage tanks. The system needed to promptly issue alerts in case of emergencies, ensuring immediate intervention and reducing the risk of workplace accidents.
SOLUTION
Cassia Networks implemented an advanced occupational health monitoring system using Bluetooth gateways and wearable Bluetooth devices such as wristbands and armbands. This system continuously collects and transmits workers’ vital sign data—including heart rate, blood pressure, and blood oxygen levels—via Bluetooth wristbands or armbands.
The data is then uploaded in real-time to the enterprise management platform through Cassia’s Bluetooth gateway, which is strategically deployed on top of the oil storage tank. This enables continuous monitoring of workers’ physical conditions and provides immediate alerts when abnormal health indicators are detected.
